In the Languedoc-Roussillon, Southern France, lays the Cap d'Agde, the coastal resort of the town of Agde, in the department of Hérault

At the Cap d’Agde harbor we took the DIANE 1 boat trip out to sea along the rocky
cost and to the Fort Brescou, the Alcatraz of France, a prison island
Brescou Fort is over 400 years old and was built on a volcanic island in
1586, 1500m from the coast of Agde
In the 18th century it was a state prison, and now an interesting place
just for tourist visit like us
Among garrigues and ponds, Sigean is a
town in Languedoc-Roussillon 15 km south of Narbonne, near the Mediterranean
coast
Very famous in Sigean is the Réserve Africaine de Sigean which opened its doors to the public the Apr 08, 1974
On a 6 kilometers circuit, you are able
to drive around this park and look at the animals from your car
There is also
a walking circuit of 2 to 3 hours to see the less dangerous animals!
On the Réserve Africaine de
Sigean more than 3 800 animals share an area of more
than 300 ha. Lions, Tibetan bears, alligators, giraffes, rhinoceroses,
flamingos, bears, monkeys...... and a pedestrian tour to meet elephants, dromedaries,
chimpanzees, alligators…
As you pass beside the lagoons, you'll
be amazed by the sight of more than 1000 birds: flamingos, ibis, storks,
pelicans and many more...
